I finally decided,
I have had enough;
Thought to explore some more,
And tickle a funny bone.
Reading blogs have become my favorite pastime,
Yes, now I am fully inspired;
To write something that is amusing,
And for everyone it would be entertaining.
So I put on my thinking cap,
Boy oh boy this seems like a booby trap;
I struggle to formulate even a single line,
And voila! then it suddenly strikes.
Why do I have to write it,
To prove what point;
So here I am, my usual self,
And for you bloggers I have something special.
Well, it is simple to understand,
Won’t take too much time to comprehend;
It is Salve in Italian,
And Hallo in German.
Aloha in Hawaiian,
Selam in Persian;
Well, in Greek, they say Kalimera,
& Arabians call it Merhaba.
By now everyone can guess, where this is going,
Oh! how can I forget that we say Namaste in Hindi;
It seems smile is becoming a scarce commodity,
So let’s just spread it without ambiguity.
All are words in different languages with one same meaning,
Honestly, that’s all I am saying;
It is the crack of dawn and a fresh new morning,
So this is my "Hello to all" as a lovely greeting.
Hope you all have a nice day,
And I can only pray;
That days, months & years go by,
Always with a smile on your face.
